Brighter Outlook (BO), a Texas 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization, and First Step Community Empowerment (FSCE), a Texas 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization, created a Texas nonprofit called ReImagine Stop Six (RSS).
RSS is a community-based resource that provides social services, first-time homebuyer workshops, financial literacy, and economic development in the Historic Stop Six Community, Ft. Worth, Texas.
BO, FSCE, and RSS have committed to serving the community through social and economic development, wrap-around support services, and employment creation. FSCE, for-profit partners First Step Workforce Services and First Step Construction Services, will provide job placement assistance and short-term occupational training. The employment opportunities will pay above the living wage.
